**Editor’s Note**
Dear Readers: As you know, just 4 months ago Glory was a young woman with a questionable future: a brilliant mind but without any financial support to pursue higher education. Thanks to readers of this blog, Glory was able to enroll in college and her life has been transformed into a world of possibility. I asked Glory to reflect on her college journey so far – has it been ‘successful’? – and she sent me back this mid-semester update for you, a heartwarming read, considering the struggles she has endured to date.
Her confidence and wisdom are a bolstering read, and as your semester gets busy and the rush of the holidays begins to approach, I hope you will take away the same sense of peace that I have from her report.
I also hope you will consider supporting her 2nd semester education! I’d love to have Glory fully funded BEFORE the holiday rush of donation requests, and I ask just $5/month ($25 for 1 semester) from you or a friend. You can donate safely and quickly here.
Thank you for being an Everyday Ambassador – someone who can treat Glory as a sister, daughter, or neighbor even if she lives far away. Please share Glory’s words and mission far and wide. Many thanks,
xo Kate
“No World Without One Person”

I would like to thanks all of my friends on this blog for being kind and ready to encourage others, as this how we can refresh people’s minds. There are many challenges in the world but there is never a case of “no solution”, the sea is wide but its end is there. There is no never until you try.
Every step in life is better than the previous one, and therefore we learn from the past to focus our goals in the future. You are not alone in the world with problems so before giving up, remind yourself that there are others with very big problems without hope.
Your life is so important because there is no world without one person, as there can be no 10 dollars without a dollar. Everybody should be proud to live and hope for success.
According to me, we can think about these steps to success:
- Believe you can, where there is the will there is a way.
- Accept challenges in life and fight for the solution.
- Don’t trust yourself too much, accept to learn from others.
- Ask questions and discuss your challenges with people you trust.
- Think about the way you want to live (future planning) and help others reach their goals by letting them learn from your challenges.
- Love is the best; learn to love all people across your life because love unites.
- Faith is the best quality of all.
Sometime people experience the absence of light before them, but that doesn’t mean it is the end of success. The only journey through which we can learn is the journey in which we think about being winners and not failures.
Thank you very much for giving to others, for giving to me. We can make the world to be a beautiful place for everyone. We can be, “together as one” – if we can see that there is no world without each one of us.
