Here’s at Everyday Ambassador, we often discuss values of empathy, humility, generosity, and willingness of heart. What’s often left on the table at the end of the day is honesty, and this is a attribute that we greatly admire in many humanitarians, activists, and everyday ambassadors. We champion the person who’s brave enough to speak their mind. To stir the pot a little. To act on and be the change. To start a conversation on something that really matters.
As part one of this Bucket List series, we encourage you to tune into your inner activist before tuning into the Academy Awards this Sunday. This year, ONE has teamed up with Accountability Lab for the first-ever Honesty Oscars, which features “groundbreaking organizations, activists, and creatives who make our more world transparent and hold our governments and corporations more accountable.” As a recipe for success, this event is equal parts celebration of advocacy efforts, effort to disrupt corrupting influences, and education for all you culture-saavy do-gooders out there. Take part in this movement, and cast your vote today for the best visual effects, best activist in a leading role, best activist anthem, best director, and best picture. Voting ends Sunday, March 2 at 6:00 pm EST, and winners will be formally announced Monday, March 3.
