The shocking feeling hit me as soon as I stepped off the elevator at Simon & Schuster’s offices last week:
This is REAL!
Kathryn greeted me for my interview with a binder cradled in one arm, and a copy of my book in the other. A copy of my book! My brain instantly zoned in on sky blue cover, and shut out everything else. This was the first printed copy I had ever seen with my own eyes! Years of dreaming, writing, editing, building, creating, experimenting, failing, getting back up and trying again. Finally, a finished product was in sight.
And now, within two weeks, it will also be in hand.
The Countdown is on: only 15 DAYS until Everyday Ambassador: Make a Difference by Connecting in a Disconnected World, is shipped out to those who have ordered it! Many of you have very kindly asked me how you can help celebrate this approaching Milestone, and I’m writing today with some answers:
2) Join us at one of our three Book Launch Parties! And if you want to bring EA to your city in the next few months, let me know and we’ll arrange it!
3) Tell us what you’re an #AmbassadorOf on Social Media! Take part in our current campaign, #AmbassadorOf with a simple selfie! We’re loving the submissions we have so far, and would love to see yours!
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey – hope to see you in a few weeks! xo ko
