#YearofConnection October Update

#YearofConnection Header

Two months have passed since we launched #YearofConnection Challenge, and thank you to our Everyday Ambassador community for celebrating the power of human connection! Once a month, we’ll be collecting stories, updates, and reflections to feature them on the blog, and check out some of our highlights below for the month of September and the first half of October.

How Travel Impacts Local Communities:

On September 24, 2015, we hosted a #YearofConnection webinar on “How Travel Impacts Local Communities” with Stan Rosenberg of our partner organization Trip of a Lifetime. Our Partnerships Manager Anjana Sreedhar co-hosted this installment of our webinar series, and if you haven’t had a chance to watch this conversation on responsible travel and local, social change, check it out below!

“Ambassadoristas” Connect in New York City:

Many of our team members work digitally with one another, but this fall has given part of the Everyday Ambassador team opportunities to meet up and celebrate the power of human connection in New York City!

Bonus photo! The last time we were also joined by our Editor-in-Chief Victoria Freyre in NYC.
